Delhi: Sensational murder case solved in Tilak Nagar, three accused arrested by police

Delhi Police has solved a sensational stabbing murder case in Delhi’s Tilak Nagar area through swift and scientific investigation. Two youths have been arrested in this case, while a minor has been detained under the Children’s Act.

Police received information on 2nd February in Tilak Nagar

According to Delhi Police, the incident took place on February 2, 2026, when the police received a PCR call from Tilak Nagar area that a youth had been attacked with a knife. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot, but by then the injured youth had been taken to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital.

Later, information was received from the hospital that 20-year-old Shivam, resident of 80 Gaj Tilak Nagar, has been declared dead by the doctors. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police immediately secured the scene of crime and started investigation with the help of crime team and FSL. Based on the statement of the eyewitness, a case of murder was registered in Tilak Nagar police station.

Important revelation regarding personal dispute, secret revealed through CCTV

Delhi Police investigation revealed that the reason for the murder was a personal dispute. The deceased had a relationship with a minor girl, due to which his brother and his friends were angry. The accused confronted Shivam regarding this matter and when the dispute escalated, he attacked him with a knife.

After the incident the accused hid at different places. But the police team caught all the accused through CCTV footage, technical surveillance and continuous raids. The arrested accused include Akshat alias Honey, Maniya and a child in conflict with law. The police have also recovered the knife used in the murder.
