US President Donald Trump claimed on Wednesday that he had spoken on phone with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping. Trump said that many issues including trade, military issues, Taiwan, Russia-Ukraine war, the current situation in Iran were discussed between the two leaders.

What did Trump write on Truth Social?

Trump made a post on his social media platform ‘Truth Social’. In this he wrote, had an excellent phone conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinping. The talks were long and detailed, covering trade, military issues, his proposed visit to China in April, Taiwan, the Russia-Ukraine war, the current situation in Iran, China’s purchase of oil and gas from the US, consideration of purchasing additional agricultural products from China, increasing soybean procurement to 20 million tonnes in the current season and a commitment of 25 million tonnes for the next season, supply of aircraft engines and many other important topics.
