The DGP has suspended three policemen, Rishikesh AIIMS post in-charge SI Sahil Vashisht, Dehradun’s Khudbuda outpost in-charge SI Pradyuman Negi and light in-charge Chudiyala SI Surat Sharma for serious negligence in the incident of conflict and firing between two parties on Ravidas Jayanti in Bhagwanpur police station area of Haridwar district.
Strict action will be taken against negligent police personnel
During the review meeting, the DGP directed that strict action will be taken against police personnel who are negligent in serious criminal incidents. Instructions have been given for timely and transparent action in land fraud cases. Preliminary investigation of CO will be mandatory. Along with this, strict action will be taken against police personnel who interfere in civil matters.
Land fraud case will be investigated at CO level
He directed the Vigilance Department to take strict action under the zero tolerance policy on corruption of police personnel. Now all land fraud cases will be investigated at the CO level and the investigation report will be submitted to the police headquarters within 7 days. Along with this, pending land related cases will be continuously monitored from the police headquarters.
