The central government has appointed senior IAS officer Rajiv Verma as the Chief Secretary of the National Capital Territory of Delhi Government. At present, he is posted as the Chief Secretary of Chandigarh Administration. He will take over in place of the current Chief Secretary Dharmendra in Delhi on 1 October.
