The 126th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’ was released on Sunday. During this, he told the audience, ‘To join all of you in Mann Ki Baat, learn from all of you, to know about the achievements of the people of the country, really gives me a very pleasant experience. While sharing their words with each other, talking about our mind, we did not know, this program has completed 125 episodes. ‘
Tribute to Bhagat Singh
He said, today is the 126th episode of this program and some features are also associated with today. Today is the birth anniversary of two great personalities of India. I am talking about Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Lata Didi. Friends, Amar Shaheed Bhagat Singh is an inspiration for every Indian, especially the youth of the country. The boldness was coded in his nature. Bhagat Singh ji also wrote a letter to the British before hanging on the noose for the country. He said that I want you to treat me and my colleagues like the warfasts. Therefore, our lives should be shot, not from hanging. This is a proof of his indomitable courage. Bhagat Singh was also very sensitive to the suffering of the people and was always ahead in their help. I pay tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh respectfully.
‘Lata Mangeshkar was inspired by great personalities like Savarkar’
He further said, comrades, today is also the birth anniversary of Lata Mangeshkar. No one who is interested in Indian culture and music can live without being overwhelmed by listening to his songs. His songs contain everything that shocks human sensibilities. The songs he sang of patriotism inspired people a lot. He also had a deep connection with the culture of India. I pay my heart to Lata Didi with my heart. Friends, Lata Didi was also one of the great personalities inspired by Veer Savarkar. Whom she used to call Tatya. He threaded many songs of Veer Savarkar in his notes. The bond of affection with Lata Didi was always intact. She used to send Rakhi every year without speaking me. I remember Sudhir Phadke, the great person of Marathi smooth music, first introduced me to Lata Didi. I told Lata Didi that I sang you and ‘Jyoti Kalash Chhalke’ composed by Sudhir ji.
‘Daughters waving their glory in every field’
The Prime Minister said, My dear countrymen, in this time of Navratri, we worship Shakti. We celebrate women power. From business to sports, from education to science .. You take any field, the daughters of the country are waving their glory everywhere. Today she is also crossing such challenges, whose imagination is difficult. If I ask you whether you can stay in the sea for eight consecutive months. Can you travel fifty thousand kilometers from a boat that is a boat in the sea, or even when the weather in the sea gets worse. You will think a thousand times before doing this. But two brave officers of the Indian Navy have done so during the sailor Sagar Parikrama. He has shown what courage and determination. Today I want to introduce the audience of Mann Ki Baat to these two brave officers. One is Lieutenant Commander Dilna and the other is Lieutenant Commander Rupa. After this, the Prime Minister is heard talking to both the officials on the phone.
‘Chhath festival will be included in the list of UNESCO cultural heritage’
Friends, our festivals keep the culture of India alive. Chhath festival is a holy-divine that comes after Diwali. This Mahaparva dedicated to the Sun God is very special. In this, we also offer arghya to the sinking sun. They worship them. Chhath is not only celebrated in different parts of the country. Rather, its sixth is seen worldwide. Today it is becoming a global festival. Friends, I am very happy to tell you that the Government of India is also engaged in a big effort regarding Chhath Puja. The Government of India is trying to include Chhath festival in the list of cultural heritage of UNESCO. If you will be included in the list of UNESCO in Chhath Puja, then people will be able to experience its grandeur and divinity in every corner of the world. Friends, some time ago, Durga Puja of Kolkata has also become a part of this list of UNESCO with similar efforts of the Government of India. If we give our cultural events such a global identity, the world will also know about them, understand, will come forward to join them.

PM Modi emphasized on adopting indigenous
He further said, October 2 is Gandhi Jayanti. Gandhiji always emphasized on adopting Swadeshi. Khadi was the most famous among them. Unfortunately, after independence, the beauty of Khadi was fading. But in the last eleven years, the attraction of the people of the country towards Khadi has increased a lot. Khadi sales have seen a lot of rise in the last few years. I urge all of you to buy some Khadi product on October 2. Proudly say it is indigenous. Share it with Vocal for Local Hashtag on social media. Like friends, Khadi, there is a lot of change in our handloom and handicraft sector. Today, many such examples are coming out in our country, which show that if tradition and innovation are added together then amazing results can be found.
