James Komi said at the end of his statement, ‘My heart is broken for the Department of Justice, but I have full faith in the US justice system. I am innocent. So come, be a trial and maintain confidence. ‘
James Komi’s son -in -law resigns
A few hours after James Komi’s statement, his son -in -law Troy Edwards, who was a federal prosecutor, resigned from his post. He said that he has taken this step to maintain the oath of constitution.
What are the allegations against James Komi?
According to the US Department of Justice, former FBI chief James Komi has faced two major allegations. In which the first- wrong statement, which he gave incorrect information during the official investigation. Secondly, obstructing the proceedings of the Congress, he tried to influence the investigation of the US Congress and stop it. Both of them are serious crimes and Komi can be punished severely if proven.
