
During the Sharadiya Navratri, there is a continuous debate about the entry of people of the Muslim community in Garba programs. Ajmer Anjuman Committee Secretary Syed Sarwar Chishti has also reacted to the Garba dispute. He said that when Muslims have been told that they are ‘unwanted’ in Hindu festivals, then why do Muslims want to go to Nakte and Begararat. It is up to whom they want to invite them.
Syed Sarwar Chishti said, “Garba is a festival of Hindus, he whatever he wants and whatever you want. It is their right. Like we have Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti’s dargah, everyone is welcome here. We do not stop anyone.”

‘If they are stopping in garba then why are Muslims going there’
On the Garba dispute, the secretary of the Ajmer Anjuman Committee further said, “If they are stopping then why are you going there? If you are unwanted then Muslims should not go there. He has his own argument, he has his own festival.
Bajrang Dal has warned
The Bajrang Dal clearly warned that strict action will be taken against the organizers who will not follow these guidelines. The poster released special emphasis on maintaining religious dignity, traditional costumes and decent environment. Bajrang Dal says that since Garba is a Hindu festival, only Sanatani Hindus should be allowed to enter the pandal. Articles I-cards should be mandated to the entry.
Those who believe in Hinduism should join Navratri-VHP
Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) national spokesperson Shriraj Nair also made it clear about the Navratri festival that it is not a simple entertainment program, but a sacred festival associated with devotion and rituals of Maa Durga. He said that it is mandatory to follow religious traditions in events like Garba and Dandiya. He has insisted that only those people who believe in Hinduism and idol worship in Navratri.
