New Delhi. Virat Kohli and Ishant Sharma are childhood friends. Both have been playing domestic cricket in Delhi. One made his place in Team India as a batsman and the other as a fast bowler. Ishant recently revealed a story when he came into Virat’s talk. The ICC had also banned a match on his action. Ishant told how during the Sri Lanka Test series in 2015, he had to be banned from the ICC and the big role behind it was his childhood friend and the time of that time, Virat Kohli. Ishant says that Virat provoked him so much that he lost his temper on the field.

Ishant said in a conversation on Raj Shamani’s YouTube channel, “This incident is of Sri Lanka Test Series. Dhammika Prasad was constantly putting me bouncer. I took a single and told him that you are very slow, you cannot hit me. Just the quarrel started from here. Then suddenly the silver came on the third man and he killed me.”

Ishant further told that when he went to the dressing room, the atmosphere got worse. “I turned to the dressing room to change the shoes. Then saw that Ravi Shastri and Sri Lanka manager were coming out. He felt that I had a scuffle with Dhammika. But in reality Dhammika followed me to the Indian dressing room.” After this, there was more tension on the field. Ishant had to pay a penalty of 65% match fees for the Sri Lankan batsmen out aggressively in the second test. After a fight with Dhammika Prasad in the third test, he had to face a match ban.

How did Virat provoke Ishant?
But the most interesting turn in this whole episode came when Virat Kohli provoked Ishant. Ishant said, “I was a little calm. Then Virat came to me and said, ‘He was coming to kill you and you did nothing? Dhammika came to beat you.’ Virat also showed me the clip in which Chandimal had killed me.
