It is clearly written in the banner- ‘Non-Hindus coming into the garba courtyard are strictly forbidden’. The organizers of Garba pandals say that entry into the pandal will be available only after passing the pass and ID. Also, entry will be given only after applying tilak.
Poster banners of ‘no entry’ of non-Hindus have been installed in Garba pandals of Navratri across the state. The organizers say that the Garba committees have taken this decision to protect against social elements, the girls are being seen in view of security.
On the other hand, people who came to Garba pandals have also appreciated this initiative. He says that it is a good initiative in the interest of women and girls to ban the entry of people of other religions.
Ratlam city Qazi made this appeal
At the same time, Qazi, the city of Ratlam, has written a letter while requesting the people of the Muslim community. In this letter, an appeal has been made to stop Muslims from going to Garba pandals. It is written in the letter, “As all of you Hazrat knows that there is an important and big Navratri festival of Hindu brothers, in which Garbe is organized. Many times it has been seen that the organizers have strong objections to Muslim boys and girls going to the garba event.”
‘Do not spoil mutual brotherhood’- City Qazi
He further wrote, “A situation of dispute arises in two societies which affect the Ganges-Jamuni Tehzeeb of India, mutual brotherhood. So all the elders of the house are requested to prevent their children from going to Garba events because they are not well in view.”
