A delegation in India formally presented the proposal to host the 2030 Commonwealth Games before the Commonwealth Sports Assessment Committee in London on Tuesday. The Indian party was led by Gujarat Sports Minister Harsh Sanghvi and Indian Olympic Association (IOA) President PT Usha. The Gujarat government gave this information.
A release issued by the Gujarat government said that the 2030 Commonwealth Games have historical significance as it symbolizes the completion of 100 years of the Commonwealth Games movement. India’s dialect has made Ahmedabad a host city to organize this centenary year. Ahmedabad has a dense sports atmosphere available with international level version, strong transport systems and high-quality housing.
The release stated, ‘This proposal emphasizes strength, inclusiveness, flexibility and stability in line with the reset principles of the Games. It is committed to integration of para -sports, protecting human rights, promoting gender equality and establishing a long -term heritage structure that ensures that players, communities and comprehensive Commonwealth also benefits beyond sports. ‘
