Rishabh Pant Out: Rishabh Pant is out of the West Indies Test series due to injury, Dhruv Jurlel will be a wicketkeeper. Ajit Agarkar Selection Committee will select 15 players. India ranks third in WTC.

According to Espncricinfo’s report, the selection committee headed by the chief selector Ajit Agarkar will select 15 players. Rishabh Pant was the vice-captain of India in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy in England this year. During the fourth Test in Manchester, he fell victim to his left leg fracture. While he came to bat to bat in the first innings, he was converted into a team by N Jagdishan for the last Test at the Oval. Pant is currently at the Center of Excellence of BCCI in Bengaluru.
According to the information, Pant is practicing strength and conditioning and is waiting for further updates from the BCCI medical team. It is to be seen that he can start batting and keeping again. There is no fixed time limit for their return. India will play a white-ball series in Australia from October 19 after the West Indies series.
In the absence of Pant, Dhruv Jurlel is expected to be India’s wicketkeeper during the West Indies series. Jurael, who is currently playing against Australia A in Lucknow, did wicketkeeping in the last two Tests of Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy. Jagadishan had an opening in the first match against Australia A and shared the responsibility of keeping with Jurlel, back-up if the selectors select the second specialist wicketkeeper for the West Indies series.
