In Uttar Pradesh, Mission Shakti, which gives a new direction to the education, security and self-reliance of girls, is continuing loudly in the entire state. At the same time, millions of girls, children, teachers and parents participated in various activities in primary, upper primary, composite and Kasturba Gandhi residential schools across the state. The girls took out rallies and presented the street plays and gave a message to ensure their active participation in women safety, education and society, then the parents interacted and guided the girls.

Display of child rights awareness among girls

Girls in primary, upper primary, composite and Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls Schools (KGBV) across the state performed well of their empowerment and awareness of child rights. On this occasion, the street plays based on the Navar forms of Maa Durga were staged at about 45,000+ places, while at 48,000+ places, girls and children took out awareness rallies and raised slogans related to child rights.

The program actively attended 3,45,000+ girls, 2,56,000 boys, 45,000+ teachers and 1,25,000+ parents. Also, 1,61,000+ girls were provided with Rani Laxmibai Self -Defense Training, which made the message of safety, awareness and confidence in children and society firmly.

Girls displayed talent

It is known that on 21 September, more than 88 thousand girls participated in the poster competition held in all the KGBV schools of the state and demonstrated their talent by making posters based on the nine forms of Maa Durga. Now Mission Shakti 5.0 is being seen as a comprehensive effort to bring the spirit of women power and empowerment from door to door.

At the same time, Basic Education Minister Sandeep Singh said, ‘With education, our government’s goal is to make every girl strong, aware and lead society. We are constantly trying in this direction. Mission Shakti 5.0 is a symbol of this commitment.

Girls will continue to be part of these activities by 30 September

  • September 23 – Students will be made to experience the administrative process by making the girl students ‘one day officer’.
  • September 24 – ‘Meena Day’ organized, discussion, rally and street plays by showing the film ‘fearless’ to girls.
  • September 25 – Awareness on bank tour and account operation process by KGBV girls.
  • 26 September – Dialogue, self -defense training and ‘self -defense club’ formed in schools.
  • September 27 – Girls’ Police Station/Kotwali tour, FIR and arrest process, cybercrime and helpline numbers.
  • September 28 – Nukkad Natak on Child Marriage, Women Plans and Social Issues.
  • September 29 – Information about their rights to girls and schemes being run for them.
  • September 30 – Girls visit government hospitals, health check -ups, counseling and public awareness.

Uttar Pradesh School Education Director Monica Rani said that, ‘Mission Shakti 5.0 campaign, there is a resolve to motivate girls towards education, security and self -reliance. It is our primary duty to enhance the talent and confidence of every girl child.
