On the first day of Sharadiya Navratri 2025, a huge crowd of devotees was seen in various temples of Delhi. During this time, devotees reached the Jhandewalan temple to visit and worship Maa Durga.

There was a queue of devotees in the Jhandewalan temple since morning. Devotees in the temple waited for their turn to see the mother patiently even after a long queue.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta greeted all the citizens on the occasion of Navratri. He said, “Worshiping Maa Adya Shakti brings courage, patience and energy in life.”

On September 21, the Chief Minister organized the Dandiya festival at Shalimar Bagh. He said, “Thank you heartily. The affection and blessings of all the people of Delhi are the inspiration for service and dedication for me.”

On the first day of Navratri, devotees arrived at Shri Adya Katyayani Shaktipeeth temple in Chhatarpur to worship and visit. A devotee said, “I am feeling very blessed today, the mother’s philosophy gave peace and energy to the mind.”

The purpose of this Mahaparva, which runs nine days, is to spread the message of reverence, devotion and social harmony. Devotees wish for strength, courage and prosperity in their lives during this time.

Mother’s grand makeup took place in Jhandewalan temple. Devotees worshiped mother Adya Shakti by lighting a lamp and offering flowers.

Small and big families together appeared to be absorbed in devotion in the court of Mata Durga. This festival not only holds religious significance, but also brings positive energy in people’s lives.
