Today we are going to tell you about one such woman. The 39 -year -old woman from California is named Lauren Burges. Lauren first fell in love with a man and both got married. But only after four years of marriage, Lauren realized that she was interested in women. After this, both of them separated. Lauren said that he married his 42 -year -old partner Matt in Dominican Republic in 2016.

After marriage, Lauren and her husband Matt’s life was cut off. The career of both was also going well. He had a therapy center for autistic people and later he also opened his own coffee shop. Everything was going well and both spouses were planning to roam the world. He named his journey ‘Van Life’. But in 2018, when Lauren started getting serious allergies due to stress, his life took a new turn. The rash started coming out on his body and the lips started to swell, after which he consulted a doctor. The doctor said that his disease is being done only due to stress. Lauren started taking therapy on the advice of the doctor. After this, when Corona came in March 2020, Lauren went into depression. She could not even get up from the bed.

Lauren told that then I realized that the life I am living, maybe it is not my own life. I was repeatedly questioning myself. In such a situation, Matt and Lauren started marriage counseling together. Meanwhile, they again talked about the plan to roam in the van together, but Matt changed his mind. Despite this, Lauren decided that she still wants to live a van life. He bought a van from Kregalist. During this walk, Lauren got a lot of time to think about his relationship and his identity. During college days, he had befriended some women and he enjoyed him. Then while walking in the van, he understood everything and realized that he is a lesbian. He said that I knew that I would have to go back to my husband and talk about divorce. In such a situation, when she told her husband Matt true, he was not surprised, but he supported a lot.

Lauren further said that both of us hugged and cried a lot, because we knew that our relationship is over. In February 2021, Lauren separated from her husband and came to the US West Coast and finally in Joshua Tree in California with her dog Ted. Two years later, in 2023, Lauren met 35 -year -old Amanda Santoris through a common friend, a strength and conditioning coach. Both met on coffee and came close to each other. While walking a surf from Mexico, both of them expressed their love to each other. However, Lauren still talks about her ex -husband Matt and there is a good friendship between the two. Lauren said, “Matt is a great person and I still care about him a lot.” Regarding her new life, he said, “I thought I was living my dream life before, but now I am really doing it.”
