A recent surprising case came to light in the Liverpool Crown Court of Britain, which shook the foundation of trust and responsibility in the society. The 44 -year -old Lindi, who was the deputy manager of a care home in St. Helens, was convicted of an illicit relationship with a minor teenager and being involved in the supply of class B drugs. The court sentenced him to a total of 23 months in jail. The case began when Lindi Lee was alleged that she formed an inappropriate relationship with a teenager living in the care home. WhatsApp messages revealed that she was demanding a “love byte” from the minor and asking her to spend a night full of drugs with her. Investigation found that she often walked around her wearing short clothes and called her again and again.
Not only this, the police received messages from Lindi’s mobile in which she was talking about selling cannabis resin and ketamine. On the basis of these messages, he also admitted two allegations related to drug supply. The evidence presented in the court proved that it was not just a case of attraction or relationship, but it included misleading the minor in a planned manner. The minor’s mother while giving a statement in the court said that this incident is no less than a tragedy for his family. He said that he had sent his son to a care home for better care and safe environment, so that professional people could help him but instead of getting security there, he was handed over to a hunter woman.
Court decision
Prosecutor Graham Pikavans said in the court that it is a serious and frequent case of betrayal. A sensitive and disturbed child, which needed safety and care, misled Lindi for her selfishness. The court sentenced him to 15 months sentence and 8 months for involvement in the case of abetment of a minor for sexual activity. A total of 23 months imprisonment was fixed, including both decorating. Along with this, the court has put a 10 -year resting order on Lindi, so that she will not be able to contact the victim and her mother in any way. Apart from this, they will also be kept under surveillance under the Sexual offense Prevention Order (SHPO) for 10 years.
