New Delhi. The name of the new sponsor of the Indian cricket team is almost confirmed. According to the information, now the name of Apollo Tires will be written on Team India’s jersey. The news of this prestigious company being finalized as the new jersey sponsor of the Indian cricket team has come to light. The company will spend about 4.5 crores for every match of Team India. Which is much higher than 4 crores being given by the previous sponsor Dream 11.

This sponsorship of Apollo Tires with the Indian team will run till 2027. It will include about 130 matches. According to the report by Timesofindia.com, Canva and JK Tire joined and bid in this process. Birla Optus Paints were also keen to invest but did not want to participate in the dialect. The bidding process for jersey sponsorship took place on 16 September.

BCCI on September 2 invited the bid for the expression of interest for the lead sponsor rights of the Indian team. In that release, the Indian Cricket Board made it clear that gaming, betting, crypto and tobacco brands were banned from bidding.
