We during the launch event LG X screen I met Let us share your experience with you. This device will be available in black, white, pink and gold color. We got a chance to spend some time with black color variant. The new LG X has not one screen on the front panel. Apart from this, this handset is equipped with the feature ‘Olvage on Display’.
On taking LG X screen in hands, first of all it realized how light the phone is. Only 120 grams, in this sense, LG X screen is much better than other smartphones in its segment. The LG X screen has a 4.93 -inch primary display. The main TFT LCD display is HD 720X1280 pixels resolution. The HD display is extremely vibrant and bright colors offer output.
The second display of the X screen is 1.76 inches and its resolution is 80×520 pixels. It will reduce battery consumption due to other phones being a small screen. The secondary screen is above the main display.
The good thing for the second screen is that it can be easily accessed. This phone has four quick tools for Soud profile, Wi-Fi, flashlight and SOS.
LG told in the launch event that X screen is the first smartphone in India to be launched with SOS feature. You must know that from next year every phone in India will come with SOS feature (panic button). SOS features can be accessed through the second display in the LG X screen, or it is possible to access it even if it is pressed in order five times in order. According to LG, the SOS mode automatically sends an alert to the emergency contact fixed by the handset user. Sadly, due to lack of active SIM card, we could not test this feature of the phone.
In the limited time spent with LG X screen, we felt that its second screen was of great use. This will be useful to save the user’s time. Apart from this, the allweight on screen will always display your name or other text.
The rear part of the handset is of glass. In the first glimpse, we remembered LG Nexus 4. The difference is that the LG X screen has plane glass while Nexus comes with 4 glossy design. The handset has power buttons and hybrid sim slots on the right side. Users can use two Nano SIM cards or one Nano SIM card and microSD card at a time. There is a volume button on the left. The 3.5mm audio jack, charging port and speaker grills are at the bottom.
The phone comes with LG’s custom skin based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. LG X screen interface is very simple and easy. We did not find it difficult to find any feature. Diailers, messages, camera, gallery and chrome are placed on the home screen. LG has used an on-screen navigation button instead of capacitive button in this phone.
Like the old LG dual sim phone, the user also has an on screen button through which they can easily reach the SIM management setting. It has 2 GB RAM with 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset. Inbuilt storage is 16 GB.
MicroSD cards up to 2 TB can be used in the handset. In the limited time spent with LG X screen, we found that it handles multi-tasking easily.
The 13-megapix rear camera took proper pictures in common indoor lighting. Low light photos can be said to be slightly better than average. We managed to take a selfie of good quality with an 8 -megapixel front camera. You will get many modes and options for the rear camera in the camera app. We found that the rear camera focused fast which is another specialty. However, we have to wait for a detailed review to know the performance and camera quality of the LG X screen smartphone.
Last idea
At first glance, the price of LG X screen may cost Rs 12,990 a little more, especially if compared to the phone with great specifications of this range. The use of HD display in place of full-HD is its negative side. And fingerprint scanner will also have to be included in this list. But the ‘Allwerage on Second’ screen feature of the phone will be able to collect accolades. Apart from this, SOS mode is also a noticeable feature.
We believe that the biggest challenge for LG’s new X screen is to beat popular handsets like Moto G4 Plus and Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. We have to wait a little to know the performance of LG X screen in the Indian market.
