Look and design

The grip is very good and easy to use with one hand. The edges of the rear of the Vibe are slightly curved. Sadly, the Android navigation button below the screen is not backlit. Micro-USB and 3.5mm ports are at the top. Power and volume buttons are on the right side. An LED light, which gives the status, is present on top of the screen in the top on the right side. We told you in the review of Lenovo Vibe’s 5 Plus that it did not give flagship features such as fingerprint sensor or infrared emitter. These features are not given in this model either.
It uses Lenovo’s Vibe UI based on Android 5.1.1, which is not very different from stock Android. You will not have difficulty in finding most functions and features. A separate app drawer has also been given in this phone. It is possible that Lenovo has added this feature after getting feedback.
Performance
This smartphone will do its job well for the common user, but we found Vibe’s 5 slightly slow. Sometimes some apps were felt in launching some apps and opening the menu. The viewing angles of the display are bad. Brightness and color are suitable. You will have no complaints with 720×1280 pixels resolution in this screen size. The rear speakers are capable of giving a very loud voice.
After a long time we got the first phone in which our HD video sample file did not run easily. While playing some 3D games, we found its performance satisfactory. The good thing is that during 5 uses of vibe, it did not heal too much.
We would not like to use this phone for more work than a little social networking and web surfing. It is clear that this model has been launched keeping in mind the entry-level user for which Vibe’s 5 Plus is a bit expensive. This can be an important reason for buying this phone.
The benchmark scores of the phone are not very excited. Do not expect to play such games or run apps on it which require more resources.
The rear camera is not worse at all, if you are willing to stop and take pictures. The focus is not immediately locked, but it is reliable.
