Samsung users have been complaining about the lack of new design in the Galaxy series smartphones for many years. The South Korean company has made a slight change in the design in its premium segment smartphone but the budget and mid-range smartphones come to a great extent with old Samsung style. The Galaxy J7 Prime is also a part of the same crowd.

Having a metal rear panel also slightly slightly slightly slipped while sweating in hands. The phone has a power button on the right side and SIM and microSD card slots have been given at the same time. Samsung has given separate slots for SIM and microSD cards in J7 Prime. Camera
The Galaxy J7 Prime has a 13 -megapixel rear camera with aperture F/1.9 and LED flash. Due to big aperture, every shot gets more light, which gives pictures with detailing during the day. Most of the pictures taken from the phone’s camera come with good colors and crisp. We note that the focus can be done easily from this handset.
At the same time, there is good crisp photos from the Galaxy J7 Prime when the indoor or the light is reduced. However, the pictures are scattered a bit when zoom on the full size. Overall, where the performance of J7’s rear camera is quite good. The phone records only a video of full-HD resolution.
Selfies come with the 8 megapixel camera given in J7 Prime and detailing with aperture F/1.9. In low light, photos from the front camera come with a little noise. The camera app given in Jn7 is easy to use and it is launched quickly.
Performance
During our review process, Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime was able to do almost every task easily. The octa-core processor given in the phone works very well and we have no complaints about it. Games like dead trigger 2 run easily in the phone. Multitasking is well in J7 Prime and the app also launches instant.
While using this device, we saw that about 1.3 GB of memory in the phone was empty all the time, which is a good thing. It is fun to watch videos on 5.5 inch screen and play games. The speaker gets the sound quite good and we did not have any problem on high volumes either. Samsung did not send us headphones in the box, so we checked the audio quality with our headphones and we liked it very much.
However, the fingerprint sensor given in the Galaxy J7 Prime disappointed us a little. Most of the time it works well, but sometimes the phone is unlocked only after pressing the home button several times. We have seen more better smartphones that work quickly work in a smartphone priced below J7 Prime.
During our review, we had no problem in 4G connectivity in Galaxy J7 Prime. And we could run 4G Vodafone SIM well all the time.
Our Standard Benchmark Test gave very good figures from Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime.
