A 15 -year -old boy from Belgaum has prepared an electric bike during school being closed in lockdown. This boy named Prathamesh Sutara also took help of his father. Prepare this bike after spending only 25 thousand rupees.
Prathamesh has prepared this bike during school exemption due to lockdown.
Belgaum The year 2020 was no less than a long holiday for children around the world. This was a period for him when he enjoyed fiercely, got entangled in computer games. However, a 15 -year -old child made a good use of this holiday. Prathamesh Sutara is a resident of Nipani taluk of Belgaum district, who has made an electric bike on his own in the midst of this epidemic. On this electric bike, you can cover a distance of up to 40 kilometers after charging once.
Actually, Prathamesh thought about some creative work during the lockdown among the epidemic. He asked his parents to prepare an electric bike. Prathamesh’s father Prakash Sutara was happy to hear that his son is going to do some kind of work. Prakash Sutara is an electrician. Prathamesh was fully supported by his family.
Parts made by collecting goods from junk
After this, Prathamesh started gathering all those junk, which could be used to make them bikes. Since, his father himself is an electrician, he got most of the essential items from his father’s garage. After this, Prathamesh made 48 voltage LID ACID battery. Apart from this, he prepared one motor each of 48 voltage and 750 watt and one electric rechargeable motor.

Talking to News18, Prathamesh Sutara said, ‘In today’s time, fuel prices are touching the sky and common people cannot spend so much. Lockdown and even then I sat at home. After the school was closed, I thought of doing something by myself. After this I prepared an electric bike with the help of my father. For this, I also did some research on the internet so that I could get the right information.
Spend only 25 thousand rupees
Prathamesh has spent only Rs 25,000 to prepare this bike. If you look at the price of electric bike available in the market, it is very economical.
Pratheesh said, ‘Once charged it, it gives a mileage of 40 km. The maximum speed of this bike is 40 kilometers per hour. There is also a special thing that this bike also has reverse gear.

Prakash Sutara proudly says this achievement of his son, ‘I am very happy for my son because he used his free time for good work. Even after being an electrician, I myself did not know much about the electric bike mechanism. During this adventure, I have got to learn a lot from my son too. I hope that one day it will do something big, so that we will be proud of it.
