Kanpur News: A strange case related to police has come to light in Kanpur. In which an FIR has been registered considering 9 police personnel who were working in the same police station as accused. Case diaries of 11 important cases are missing from Kalyanpur police station.
In this regard, the department was continuously investigating for several days, but even after a lot of investigation, neither the case diary was found nor any clue was found. After this, now on the instructions of ACP, FIR has been registered against all the accused police personnel under relevant sections.
In fact, in the last few years, reports of many cases in different cases were written in Kalyanpur police station of Kanpur, but the case diary of those cases neither reached the court nor is present in the police station. Regarding this, the police officers had given instructions that this case diary should be found and presented as soon as possible.
Serious allegations against 9 policemen
Despite this instruction the result was nothing. There was a stir in the police station due to non-availability of case diary in the FIRs registered in the cases from 2008 to 2021. Which was being investigated by 9 policemen posted in the police station. Of which 7 are sub-inspectors while two others are policemen.
Due to serious negligence like missing of the case diary, questions were being raised on the police working style. An FIR has been registered against 7 sub-inspectors posted at the police station for negligence in this case, including Chandrabhan Singh, Narendra Bahadur, Prem Babu Goyal, Dinesh Kumar, Imtiaz, Brijesh Kumar, Ramchandra Dohre, Devendra Kumar Seth and one other. .
‘Case diary embezzlement case registered’
Kalyanpur ACP Abhishek Pandey said that the matter is serious. He said that due to negligence, a report has been registered against all the accused policemen at Kalyanpur police station. In which case diary embezzlement has been alleged. The matter is being investigated seriously and based on the investigation, legal action will be taken against all the policemen.
