Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subhendu Adhikari held a rally in Sandeshkhali, West Bengal on Tuesday. He said the state government leveled false allegations against the women of Sandeshkhali who protested against the alleged wrongdoings of local Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders. Shubhendu’s rally was organized at the same place where Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had come to attend a program yesterday. The BJP leader also said that if BJP comes to power, Mamata Banerjee will go to jail.
