Ram Nevas, a Scheduled Caste resident of Madaria in Gola tehsil area, had died recently. The financial condition of Ram Nevas’s family is not good. There is a wife and three children in the family. He was the only income earner of the family. After his death the family was facing a crisis of survival.

Met at the helipad and handed over the cheque.

The Chief Minister, who arrived on Wednesday to pay tribute to Ramdas, who was the Mahant of Madaria Siddhpeeth, met the family members of Ram Nevas at the helipad before going to the venue. Shared their sorrow by giving them affection. On the spot, the Chief Minister handed over a check of Rs 4 lakh 12 thousand 500 to Ram Nevas’s wife Devi as the first installment of the total assistance amount of Rs 8 lakh 25 thousand sanctioned under the provisions of the Scheduled Caste Tribe Act.

Along with this, she will be given a lump sum of Rs 30,000 in her bank account under the National Family Benefit Scheme and will receive a pension of Rs 1,000 per month under the Destitute Women Pension Scheme.

Instructions to provide benefits to the daughter of the deceased

CM Yogi directed the officials present on the spot to provide the benefits of Chief Minister Child Service Scheme to Nikki, the youngest daughter of late Ram Nevas. The dependent family is landless, hence the family will also be provided the benefit of land lease and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The Chief Minister also gave instructions to build toilets for the family under Swachh Bharat Mission, make Antyodaya ration cards and cover them under Ayushman Yojana.
