Due to the rains in the mountains and plains, there have been flood -like conditions in 11 districts of Haryana due to the rise in four rivers. On Monday, the water level of Hathinikund barrage built on the Yamuna river reached 3,31,653 cusecs for the first time in the season. All 18 gates of the barrage have been opened. The administration has asked the people living in the villages on the banks of the Yamuna river to go to safe places.
