Yamuna, Ghaggar, Markanda and Tangri rivers are flowing on the danger mark. The situation in Yamunanagar, Panipat, Karnal, Kaithal, Kurukshetra, Ambala, Sirsa, Fatehabad, Hisar, Sonipat and Faridabad districts is becoming worrying.

Due to the rains in the mountains and plains, there have been flood -like conditions in 11 districts of Haryana due to the rise in four rivers. Yamuna, Ghaggar, Markanda and Tangri rivers are flowing on the danger mark. On Monday, the water level of Hathinikund barrage built on the Yamuna river reached 3,31,653 cusecs for the first time in the season. All 18 gates of the barrage have been opened. Ufhani Yamuna reached the streets and villages of Yamunanagar late in the evening. Due to this, there was chaos in the people. The administration has asked the people living in the villages on the banks of the Yamuna river to go to safe places. The water level of Markanda in Kurukshetra is continuously rising and Patti reached the houses of Jamra village.
