Delhi: Murder committed to avenge slap, 3 arrested for murder of factory owner

Police have solved the case of brutal murder of a co-owner of a factory in Narela Industrial Area located in Outer-North district of Delhi. Police investigation has revealed that the reason for this sensational murder was just a ‘slap’. In this case, the police took immediate action and arrested three accused including a minor and also recovered the weapons used in the crime.

According to the information received, on February 20, 2026, at around 8:30 pm, 28-year-old Ravi, resident of Gautam Colony, was returning home on a motorcycle after completing work from his factory (Chaudhary Enterprises). Some youths who were already waiting in ambush on the way stopped them and attacked them with knives.

The attackers gave several deep blows to Ravi’s neck, shoulder and back. Ravi, soaked in blood, was hurriedly taken to Narela hospital, where doctors declared him dead. On the complaint of the deceased’s elder brother Ranveer Singh, the police registered a case of murder and started investigation.

The laborer took terrible revenge for the insult

During intensive investigation by the police, the main reason behind the murder was found to be an old dispute. Investigation revealed that a day before the incident, there was a heated argument between Ravi and a laborer Rahid (aka Rahil) regarding work in the factory. The dispute escalated so much that Ravi got angry and slapped Rahid. Enraged by this public insult, Rahid along with his associates hatched a dreadful conspiracy to kill his own master.

Weapons and bike recovered, search for others continues

The police laid a trap to nab the killers and on February 22, arrested Hrithik and Abhay (aka Hanuman) from Metro Vihar area of ​​Holambi Kalan. During this time, a minor has also been detained by the police. At the behest of the accused, the police have also recovered the blood stained knife used in the crime, a Splendor Plus bike and the clothes worn at the time of the incident. Police officials say that other absconding accused are being searched actively and further investigation of the case is going on.
