Richa Ghosh DSP: West Bengal Police said on Wednesday that Richa Ghosh, a member of the Indian women’s cricket team and a part of the World Cup-winning team, has joined the state police force as Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and took charge as Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) in Siliguri.

West Bengal Police said on Wednesday that Richa Ghosh, a member of the Indian women’s cricket team and part of the World Cup-winning team, has joined the state police force as Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and has taken charge as Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) in Siliguri.
Officials said 22-year-old Richa took charge at the Siliguri Police Commissionerate, where she met senior officers and other members. His appointment follows the announcement made by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at a public felicitation ceremony last month. Richa Ghosh had visited the state police headquarters in Kolkata on November 8 to meet senior officials.
West Bengal Police said in a post on ‘X’, ‘Richa Ghosh, an important member of the Indian team that won the Women’s Cricket World Cup, has joined the state police today as DSP.
