New Delhi. Pakistan is not able to digest the success of Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who has made many records like playing Ranji Trophy at the youngest age and getting selected in the IPL team. 13 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi batted brilliantly against Sri Lanka and UAE in the Under-19 Asia Cup. Thanks to this game of Vaibhav, India not only won but also made it to the finals. It seems that Pakistani cricketers are not able to digest the success of Vaibhav Suryavanshi.
Former Pakistani cricketer Junaid Khan has raised questions on the age of Vaibhav Suryavanshi. He posted a video on Instagram, in which Vaibhav is hitting a six off the ball of Sri Lanka’s Dulanith Sigera. Former fast bowler Junaid Khan posted this video and wrote, ‘Can a 13 year old player really hit such long sixes???’
However, Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s father Sanjay had recently rejected such questions. He had said that if needed, Vaibhav can give the necessary bone test to determine his age. Vaibhav’s father had said, ‘When he was 8 and a half years old, he had appeared in the BCCI bone test. He has recently played for India in the Under-19 team. He can give the bone test again. Junaid Khan has played 22 Tests, 76 ODIs and 9 T20 matches for Pakistan.
